We stayed at Blue Palm 2 nights. Everything was perfect. The grounds are impeccable. Rooms are so cute and clean. Breakfast every day was excellent. We ate in the restaurant one night and our food was excellent. The staff goes out of there way for you. I HIGHLY recommend this property. We will be back
Excellent stay in Bacalar. The rooms are spacious and spotless, the pool is great, and the staff were incredibly helpful. The front desk gave us great recommendations for activities. Having bicycles available was super convenient. The location is perfect, right near everything. We nearly booked a much more expensive hotel outside of town and are so glad we didn’t. Staying here was far more convenient and enjoyable. Will be back for sure.
I cannot say enough about this hotel. The breakfast was made fresh for us every morning with fresh fruit and fresh fruit juice every morning. The owner himself make sure that you are incredibly happy and that the place is quiet. I could not have asked for more. Absolutely wonderful people. Highly recommended. They also have a restaurant on site that is fabulous. Image attached.
My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights for our first time visiting Bacalar and the place was wonderful. The owners are amazing and helpful as well as the staff. Everything they do here is so thoughtful. The food at the on site restaurant Mistura is amazing a d they have some many options. The included breakfast is also top notch and we tried something new everyday. They also have free bikes so it made getting around to everything so easy. Centro is just a short 5 minute bike away. We really loved the location and pool. The room was also spacious and clean. We will definitely be back!
A truly delightful hotel — a peaceful oasis in the heart of Bacalar. This hotel offered everything we were looking for: a great location (within walking distance of restaurants and public lagoon access points), friendly English-speaking staff, a beautiful and unique pool area complete with hammocks, bikes, clean rooms, a generous breakfast, and even the option to enjoy a cozy and tasty dinner on-site (with a 10% discount for all guests). Definitely worth the money!
Beautiful hotel, well-designed, spacious rooms with private hammock. The pool is amazing, especially with the hammocks in the water. Breakfast is delicious and a lot. Bonus points for providing separate pool towels and for free rent of bikes. We booked a tour with the friendly (good english-speaking) reception that turned out great as well. Small details: low water pressure and temperature in the shower, a toilet that sometimes didn't flush well and flaky wifi in the room. Location: easy and safe 10 min walk to Zocalo. Would definitely recommend staying here (without kids as it is adult-only).
Very happy to add to the 5 star reviews for the Blue Palm. We had a 5 location tour of QR and Yucatan and this was our favourite. Everything about the hotel including the location; room; poolside; planting; breakfast and cheerful staff was superb.
We loved the hotel, very convenient location in Bacalar, easy to reach any spot from there. The room was very nice and clean and a nice detail was that there were even logged in accounts on the tvs streaming apps. The breakfast was the highlight for us, great choice and delicious. The pool area with the hammocks and sunbeds is also pretty but some umbrellas for the sun would be nice!
